About the event
Ashbourne is blessed with an abundance of native wildlife. Koalas, kanagroos, wombats, possums and many other wonderful animals call our properties home.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to our Autumn event, Living with Wildlife on Sunday 2 April, 3:30pm-5:30pm, where special guests, our own Linda Healy and Helen Round, East Trentham Wildlife Shelter will share their wisdom on living with our native fauna. Topics of discussion will include, but won't be limited to:
- designing nature corridors
- how to encourage wildlife to your property
- the do's and don'ts of fencing
- dogs and wildlife
- what to consider when controlling weeds or irradicating introduced pests (e.g. rabbits)
- helping injured animals
Please bring a plate of sweet or savoury for afternoon tea. Drinks will be provided.
