ALG Strategic Vision
2022- 2027

Our community enjoys an environment of farms, forest and open undulating land at the headwater of the Campaspe River.

Our aim is to restore and maintain native habitat and facilitate ecologically sustainable land management practices in Ashbourne. Our priority is to eradicate woody weeds and extend the area that supports native flora and fauna along the Campaspe and its catchment slopes.

Objectives:

  1. Provide information and guidance to landholders

  2. Build knowledge and resources within ALG to enable us to achieve our strategic vision

  3. Engage with the community and stakeholders, including funding bodies, to meet our strategic priorities

Strengths:

  • the knowledge and experience of our members

  • the equipment and tools that we have for use by members in undertaking land care activities

  • the partnerships that we have developed with government agencies and granting bodies

Action Plans:

Each year our Committee and work/interest groups develop and implement action plans for progressing and achieving our objectives.
