About the event
Dear Ashbourne Landcare Group Members,
You are cordially invited to attend the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Ashbourne Landcare Group. The meeting will take place on Sunday, 22 September 2024, at 1pm in the Rodney Snell Meeting Room at Woodend Community House. Following the AGM, we will gather for afternoon tea in The Undercroft.
During the meeting, we will be seeking input and ideas from both current and prospective members on potential events for the upcoming year. If you are interested in joining the committee or organising any events, meetings, or working bees, please come prepared to share your suggestions.
Exciting announcements await, including the introduction of new technology available for loan to members in the form of semi-professional wildlife cameras for monitoring wildlife on your property. Matthew Grant-Allen will provide a detailed instructional session on how to utilise these cameras effectively.
Additionally, updates will be provided on our new greenhouse project and the grants secured throughout the year, outlining the benefits for our group's activities.
To assist with event planning, please RSVP via the website by Friday, 20 September. Apologies can also be submitted through the website.
Agenda items for the meeting include:
- Confirmation of the minutes from the previous AGM
- Receipt and consideration of the Committee's Annual Report
- Receipt and consideration of the Financial Report for the financial year
- Appointment of Office Bearers and Ordinary Committee Members
Prior to the meeting, relevant papers will be circulated to ensure all members are well-prepared for the discussions.
We look forward to your active participation and valuable contributions at the AGM. Your involvement is crucial in shaping the future initiatives of the Ashbourne Landcare Group.
Warm regards,
Michiel Mees
